Change the Culture. Eliminate the Demand. Stop the Victimization.

At FREE Alexandria our mission: We are committed to preventing human trafficking and child exploitation.

What does that mean?

It means that we want to ensure that none of our son’s faces appear in a news article or press release where they are being arrested for buying sex. It means that we want to educate families on how to have appropriate conversation about sex and commercial sexual exploitation with their children, including the harm that pornography causes. It means that we want to change the culture of our community so the demand for commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking is no longer present in this community.

It also means teaching our young women what it means to stand up for themselves. To be strong, powerful, and to not become a victim. It means empowering them with the information about healthy relationships and boundaries.

Is it going to be easy?

Not a chance but we can use your help.

Will you help change the culture, end the demand, so we can prevent the victimization?

About Us

We are parents and members of the community who want to make a place for our children where the demand for commercial sexual exploitation doesn’t exist.  We want to make a place where our sons don’t end up on a billboard for buying sex and our daughters don’t become targets for trafficking and exploitation.

Who we are:

Josh Waltzing, President

Josh is married and the father of three wonderful young men – ages 10, 10, and 6.  He is got involved with FREE Alexandria with the desire to ensure his sons do not end up on the cover of a news article or police report as the buyer of commercial sexual exploitation.  His mission is to help his boys and all young men and women understand what trafficking and exploitation is and why it is so harmful to not only themselves but also those around them.

Kari Haggerty, Vice President

Kari is married and has three children – two of which are at the age where many kids are targets of human trafficking.  She wants to help teach other parents ways protect their kids through education.

Jennifer Olson, Secretary/Treasurer

Jennifer is married with two children.  She has a deep desire to help shape the community in which we live in to be one where here kids don’t have to look over their shoulders in worry that they could be exploited. She has a dream of living in a community that has eliminated the demand and helps others achieve the same.

Help us today by making a donation of any amount to help us end trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
